For about a month now, I have been developing (yet another) shell for the TI-84 Plus CE. So far, I haven't completed too much as of right now (mostly procrastination), but here's a demo of my current progress on the shell:

With BasicOS, I plan on adding extra options for users to which some might find useful, here's a list of things I intend to add to this program:

▪ Complete program management
- Execution of Basic, Assembly, C, etc. programs
- Archiving and Unarchiving
- Hiding and Showing
- Locking and Unlocking
- File Duplication
- File content Snipping
- Renaming
- Bundling Programs
- Detailed information about files (with icons if supported)
- Program Editing
- Deleting Files
- "Trashing files" (if option is toggled)
- Complete Group Management

▪ Time Utilities
- Analog and Digital clocks
- Kitchen timer
- Event Countdowns
- Stopwatch
- Easter Calculation
- Current Moon Phase
- Calendar
- Birthday countdown

▪ Other Utilities
- Send and receive files
- GarbageCollect test predicition
- Speed test
- Empty file spammer
- Screen "glitch"
- Assembly hex code execution
- File Search
- Built in Hex Editor

▪ Token Retriever
- Save special tokens and other things to a program
- Favorites list of tokens
- Safe token previewing

More things may be added or taken away in the future, depending on how things turn out. So far, this will be my last shell for the TI-84 Plus CE before the Evo comes out. Stay tuned!
I thought I had a chance...

Don't be discouraged to make your own shell! Everyone starts somewhere and it takes a long time to perfect it!
Update time! I've made significant progress and so far the program is almost done!
However, I had to slim down on some features because the program was getting decently large and I don't think finishing the other things will be feasible at this point.

But so far here's a demo, and the beta will be uploaded soon to the archives.
The last thing that isn't finished yet is Group Extraction.

If you'd like to try it out, the Dev and Beta snapshots will be in this Google Drive Folder.
