I am currently working on a project that will make all languages that are not available on the calculator available. I have now just completed My first language which is hebrew pls try it and enjoy it.
I know from your previous topic that you're making fonts with new characters. How do you plan to handle languages with far more characters than the English language? Are you also planning on adding translations? Seems like a challenging task!

For your first question: If you have CEaShell that means you have lowercase letters, so i will use that to get the whole language.
For your second question: I have no idea.
First i want to get that you can type in the correct direction, and then we will see. Can anyone help me with this?
Here is a link for the first languuage Hebrew font language.

Here is a thumbnail

Only one language at a time can be used on the calculator. I think those are the only limits.
Update:

I am now working on the Russian alphabet.
I am also going to work on a RPG font as well.
What should I work on after that?
Here's a link to my Toki Pona transliterator, if it's helpful:
TOKINPUT.8xp
TOKIFONT.8xp
(note that the program may be a bit hard to navigate if you don't speak Toki Pona)
Great job! You should try to make a translator too 🙂

I am starting to work on the Hebrew one. I would also like to do it with other languages, but it is a lot of work. If any one can help me with the Hebrew translator please do.
Note: All programming MUST be in TI-Basic.
You could try to check some asian letter systems, like those used with Hindi, Thai or Tamil, where combination of letters will change shape of letter completely. Also of course Arabic and noted Hebrew are good to start because they are RTL (Right-to-left) languages, opposite to most which are LTR (not even mentioning traditional Japanese ...)

And maybe opposite to "all languages" you could just lower first exceptation and just add all writing systems, because for example difference between "english" and "french" is maybe some diacritics that french has and english does not have, then when going to add all languages, things go towards translations
This is my calc font try it out. Still waiting for approval.
Here is a new thumbnail.

The second gif is my font.
Two more languages/fonts have been released.

Please take some time to try them out.
u should try a single program that will give u fonts and letters for all supported languages
hi calcgeek, i saw you asked for help with this project and i installed the font editor on my calculator. I tested it out by writing a Runes alphabet and i would be open to working on this with you! 🙂
Instead of this just have a Unicode txt to 8xv PC program and a Unicode displayer on calc.
hmm, tell me how that works
For some reason when i make a font and run it, it will restart and RAM clear my calculator. Did you have this problem when you first started?
edit: does this work on the OS 5.8 even with the jailbreak installed?

Thanks, do you know hebrew well enough to help me with a translator?

I didnt have a problem. Do you have CEshell?
My calculator is a 5.8 Os and I have CEshell and it works, so yes I did use the jailbreak to get CEshell.
I have just started working on the translator.
No I do not know Hebrew but I could help port other languages.
Also how did you get the Hebrew program to run on the Home Screen?
Mine just says invalid
