Hey guys, I know I haven't posted in a while and have kinda been a bit inactive, but Im proud to announce my new game, Astro-Calc. It switches from the normal single player calculator games and creates a great two player experience to share with your friends. The main objective of the game is to turn around and blow up your friends in space. Currently there are two gamemodes, a quick play and a customizable game mode where you can turn powerups on and off as well as bullet cooldowns for more fun. I am thinking of possibly adding another racing gamemode in the future but we'll see. Right now there are also only two characters, but Im think of adding a character select screen AND being open to character skins/ideas. Here is some footage of the game:

I'll be uploading it soon so be ready!!!
That's a clever idea. Is this two players on a single calculator, or link play? If the former, which set of keys does the second player use? It looks like the projectiles might be emitted from the (0,0) of the sprite; might I recommend they be emitted from the nose of each craft?
To answer your question (a bit late, i've got to study for AP's Laughing Laughing ), this is two players on a single calculator, the first player uses the up down and left arrows, and the second player uses the 2 6 and 8 keys, HOWEVER, if it's better for everyone, I can make that an option to change later on. In addition, I have taken up to changing to your Recommendation, however I have been quite busy with school and such. Nevertheless, please suggest to your hearts content, right now Im think of adding an option to change the controls as previously mentioned, Change the sprites as Kerm mentioned, and possibly add skins to the game, inspired by previous projects and such (a TI-Wars Skin, A mining ship cause Ty-coIn, and other skins based on maybe Cemetech or other really cool projects)
Important Game Stuff Exclamation
I have begun work on adding multiple skins to the game, and plan on dropping the base game tonight, and soon dropping an update that will add the skins in. Currently, there are two default skins but I want to support a multitude of built in skins, and in addition, I also want to support community made skins, via use of AppVars. The sprites have to be 20 by 20, and should be even as they will end up being rotated. If you would like to suggest skin ideas, please do so bellow. Just remember that I want the base games ones to be universal, and that if you want your own personalized skin, that will come later on with AppVar skins. Currently, I have thought up a design for Cemetech (lightning over a red ship), and TI-Planet (a black/gray pointed ship, with two orange circling engines).
The majority of the games bugs and quirks have also been fixed. Very Happy
I found a bug, when player 2 (or the person using the numpad) shoots into random space, they sometimes get credited with a point.
