Anyone tried to put in a ti 83 or plus screen to a ti 84 plus?
We can't even reliably replace a TI-84 Plus screen so probably not.
It's worth experimenting with if you have the parts, but success may vary.
Best bet is a swap between the TI-83 Plus SE and the TI-84 Plus. You may be able to remove and reattach the little boards on which the driver immediately sits with a hot air station. I'd imagine the ribbon cable just above would pop off with that kind of heat, perhaps some aluminum tape would protect it?
I suppose nobody has done this since the advantage of the TI-84 LCD is rather low compared to the risk and effort of such a procedure.
