The CE has enough RAM for famidash to not run into problems even with a decent amount of the RAM used, I've been testing it, and FamiDash can randomly crash every once in a while, but most of the time it works well. What are you asking?
Seriously? WOW. This is so cool.
The ez80 looks similar in processing power to the 386. Except the Ti84+CE has way less ram than the average 386 setup.
I managed to run Nesticle on my 386 with 8mb of ram only on pure DOS. It was running at like 1/3 to 1/2 speed, but "works."
To think you could produce a usable NES emulator on these specs is wild. I mean even my Windows CE netbooks or Zipit Z2s with "better" specs struggle to run NES roms.
I have TI84+CE laying around.... This looks like some must have software. And I develop NES games so this makes one more place for my games to run.
I do have one question. Is there/will there be sound support? Might be a stretch, but should be possible.

Thanks for the kind words! With the right know-how, you can push the CE pretty far. Unfortunately, sound support won't be coming, mostly due to processing needed, but also due to audio requiring isochronous transfers, which currently doesn't have any consistent workarounds.
In other news, a bug-fix update should be coming soon: The last update introduced some visual bugs related to savestates, and the APU emulation still isn't up to snuff. I'll be trying to iron those out in the next few weeks.
