Man, I don't know if you're still developing this, but keep going! Looks awesome!
Another new version of my minecraft clone:

changes:
-chunks are now compressed so they take up mutch less space (720kb->35kb).
-Screenshots now use 16-bit colors instead of 24-bit so they take up less space (324kb->162kb).
-Screenshot saving has been reworked.
-Fixed a bug where picking up a item would cause a illegal code error.
-Fixed a lot of bugs with redstone.
-Fixed heap failure causing map bugs.
-Fixed a bug where blocks could not be destroyed in survival.
-Fixed mapUpdate showing incorrect values in performance graph.
-Fixed hotbar numbers not being minecraft numbers.
-Fixed tnt not doing boom.
-Added sheeps (they have a 1 in 512 chance of spawning on a block when generating a new world).
-Shears can shear sheep to get wool.
-Further code reworking so it will be easier to eventually make the world infinite.
-Clay now spawns in water (1 in 5 chance of a block being clay).

I recommend that you save a backup of your world before opening it in this new version because it compresses all chunks when opening a world and if there is a error the world will get corrupted.

If anyone has any new ideas for features or finds any bugs please let me know. Just send me a message or post a reply. Very Happy

And yup still developing this and thanks for the nice comment Stilze.
Awesome! I'll see if any of my calculators explode from this (I have two color Casio calcs now but neither is the fx-CG50/G90E)

Sadly the newer versions are still not for the cg10/cg20 but only for the cg50. But I am working on it.
This looks amazing! I'll definitely be putting this on my cg50 when I get a chance and trying it out. From the screenshots I agree with what someone said above that a nicer sky would be a good thing to work on.
Another new version of my minecraft clone:
changes:
-World updates (like saplings growing, wheat growing, grass expansion...) are now always enabled in a world and can be changed by increasing Chunk update distance.
-Realistic water/lava flow mechanics
-Tool hp is now saved.
-Dry farmland will now turn to dirt when no water is nearby and will turn to wet farmland when water is nearby.
-Added a sky-box that can be enabled in settings with the setting beautiful sky.
-Added breaking textures for when breaking blocks.
-Replaced my own heap with the tlsf heap by mattconte.
-sheep's are now textured and pigs are added.
-Animal breeding.
-A complete rework of the lighting system that is much faster (up to 40% faster for full map update and 3x faster for single chunk updates).
-Reworked compressed chunks so they are a lot faster and so that it is actually usable when playing.
-Chunks now load gradually so there is not as large of a performance hit when loading new chunks.
-Added texture packs, this means that all textures are offloaded to different files.
-A lot of bug fixes.

Again I recommend that you make a backup of your world before converting it to a new version.
Also to play you need to install a texture pack here are the 2 I made for now:
Default texture pack
Festive texture pack

How to install:
1. extract the zip file.
2. On your calculator in the fxcraft folder create a new folder named 'assets'
3. Copy the decompressed tex_... folder to the assets folder

You can create your own texturepacks by downloading this program, how to use it is in the readme.

I will probably release a new version for the CG10/CG20 in a short while that has all of the new features, apart from lighting as there is not enough ram.

You have to download a texture pack in order for the game to work correctly!

If anyone has any questions, finds bugs or has new ideas please let me know and post a reply or send a private message. Very Happy
What programming language is this programmed with?
it's in C and the program for creating texture packs is in C#
Why does it keep crashing or it runs at 1 or (even) 2 fps and I don't want to overclock it
What is the adress that you get when it crashes and what settings do you use?
