Use keypad as keyboard input with GetKey

I'm currently coding an enigma machine for the ti84 plus CE (first time ever coding in TI-BASIC or on any calculator) and I wanted to use the keys on the calculator as the 26 letter inputs. Is there any effective way I can do this with GetKey since I can't use menu and other inputs are clunky/not what I'm looking for? If needed, I can send the code I have so far.
