Good point. Originally gint's design was motivated by the use of custom fonts but because there were no Asian members in the community at the time no one really thought about the cost of carrying around large syllabaries, especially Kanji.

There are syscalls to fetch these (search for "glyph" in https://bible.planet-casio.com/simlo/chm/v20/fx_fxCG20_syscalls.htm). I'm not sure it's been dumped fully. There is a hidden test menu where you can see them all as well, I believe.

Code for converting to/from Unicode or displaying this in gint would be a very welcome addition that I'd be happy to merge and maintain.
