I'm trying to do the following calculation f(x)=(Xsquared + 1)squared and when I enter that in my TI-84 Plus CE I get an amount 9801 but I don't want the amount.
How do I get the result x to the 4th-2x+1?
You can't, that would require the calc being able to manipulate the equation symbolically, which it can't do.
Calcs with a CAS like the nspires can though.
