I updated to OS 5.4.4 but it didn't fix it.
The adapter is working, I tried the exact same setup with a GPS running OpenTom and it works.
The setup i'm using has an extra plug for power, and the flash drive wont light up without it connected.
can you give more specifics about the usb? i've heard that usbs with lots of storage/files on them can cause difficulties. i also heard that setting allocation unit size to 64 kilobytes when formatting helps
Sorry for taking so long
I used several flash drives, one of them was 128 MB and almost full and another was a Sandisk 64 GB formatted as fat32.
I'll try clearing it up and setting the cluster size, thanks.
Formatted it as FAT32 and set cluster size to 1024 (max on windows).
The calculator knows something is connected and exits the usb menu when the flash drive is disconnected but it doesn't say anything new.
