Hello All,

My first post here. This is an excellent website with considerable useful information.

I have an original TI 89 and like to include units in variables (e.g. 48_in ►L) while programming in TI Basic. I use the 'UNITS' button for this and then the pull down menus.

I am considering purchasing a TI 84 Plus CE (mostly for the back lighting and color - easier on the eyes).

I am wondering if I can include units in variables while programming in TI Basic on the TI 84 Plus CE?

I have searched but have found nothing definitive).

Thanks!
Short answer: no.

Variables can only store numerical values (same applies to lists).
