msd8x != MOS

it uses MOS to run the programs, read the discussion

this means you'll have to include something similar in DCS to get people to switch,

[edit]

lol, or just release a recompiled version with a change in usbflash.asm that changes

Code:

sMirageName:
       DB AppObj,"MirageOS"

to

Code:

sMirageName:
       DB AppObj,"DoorsCS6"
That would work I guess. Now I just need to get the adapter for a flash drive to calc, and I will have limitless storage.

althought now that I think about it, it may not, since DCS probably has a different point from which programs are started....anyway maybe someone should write a USB8x SE for DCS

I'm considering it strongly - right after I make a PS/2 SE from the Emerson routines. I need to work on associated programs and SE support for DCS6. :/
DCS6 doesn't support SE's? Confused My 84+ SE seems to work fine with it...
Oh, I meant I hadn't checked SE support in a while, so I was afraid I might have broken it somehow.
Oh, I thought you meant shell expansions. Razz My 84+SE works fine, too.
I did mean shell expansions... you say you were able to use SEs on your calc with DCS6?
Oh, so I was right. No, I haven't tried using any. I just mean DCS works on my 84+SilverEdition. I'm pretty sure that's what calc84maniac meant, too. He might have tried them, though.
Well, judging by this:

I think he was talking about Silver Editions as well. So I'd better check out Shell Extension support and ensure I didn't break it anywhere.
.....I meant Shell Extensions

Yeah, I know, that's what prompted me to wonder if Shell Expansion support was still operational.
