Where can I find the pinouts for the TI-92 expansion port?

I would like to try expanding the memory on mine, but have had no luck finding the information. Google fu is just not working for me.

Any information on the workings of the 92 would be appreciated.
Maybe you could check our internal pictures of the external modules, with several hardware revisions :

Thanks that helps. More variety than I expected. I could trace out the pin connections from that, several opportunities for double checking.
As usual ask a question, then find the answer. At the bottom of this page are relevant links https://www.omnimaga.org/other-calc-related-projects-and-ideas/68k-macos/
Interesting, good find Smile
There aren't enough address bits to expand the capacity a lot, though.
But in this day and age, Plus modules are so hard to find.
Evidence to the contrary I have not forgotten this project. I have managed to misplace my TI-92 and have not managed to get another one yet.
Finally got a working ti-92 Very Happy and a non-working voyage 200. Time to get back into it.
Old prototypes of the 92 were recently found on eBay, bought by mr womp womp and critor, and one of them, which has an odd connection for the module, was dumped yesterday.

Maybe next week will bring more prototype 92 calculators.
Thanks Lionel.

And now that we have the dump, some differences I could find between development version 0.5d23 from January 1995 and production version 1.3 from October 1995, the nearest one I have :

Some tokens are missing, some are using different names, some are working but not listed in the menu or catalog.

Several UI differences also.

But so far those are minor differences in 9 months IMO, version 0.5d23 was already very similar to 1.3.
Seeing this, in January 1995, TI had probably already been working on the TI-92 for years.

And before you click, sorry, we don't and won't host the ROM.
The rom module in the prototypes is actually 2MB of flash instead of 1MB OTP-EPROM in the regular modules, but you can't have one of those though Evil or Very Mad
I would think that replacing the chips in the rom module with higher capacity pin-compatible chips would work, assuming you can map the extra space.
However, I think we might be misunderstanding the question... You could just buy a Plus Module which will give you 2MB of flash as well as some extra ram. They aren't really easy to find and are usually quite expensive, but modding a rom module would likely be even more expensive Laughing

My interest is in expanding memory, RAM. Possibly adding Flash for other programs.

Also custom I/F for adding, I don't know what could be added.

Could you flash from the 92? Maybe an SD card?
Yeah what you'll want is a TI-92 Plus Module

They aren't exactly easy to find, but its definitely the easiest way to add flash + ram.
