Hi guys, I am very new to the Casio calculator but there seem to be some fun games here for the Casio fx cg 10/20 that are not playable on the cg 50, is there an easy way to make them playable or do you have to reprogram a whole game for that?
You don't need to reprogram them, but you do need to re-compile some of them with minor changes. What games in particular?
On Planète Casio we converted most of them by wiring hardcoded VRAM addresses to the suitable syscall and disabling the usual overclock setting as it is slower than the CG-50's default.

How would one go about doing this? I’m planning on writing a game for the Casio CG-50 but I don’t know how to tweak compiler settings or make file settings. I will be using the windows SDK with a precompiled fxcg lib. Many thanks!
If you're targeting the CG-50 from the beginning you don't need to do anything special. Some programs made assumptions about the system that are no longer true on the CG-50 and need some modifications, but by definition a new program won't need that (though you may need to be careful to maintain compatibility the other way by ensuring you don't make any similar assumptions about the CG-50).
