I acquired a TI Voyage 200 about 4 years ago, but the screen started breaking within a few months. At the time, I was entirely oblivious, as I wasn't very well aware of how that calculator worked, and I figured it would be fine. A few weeks later, the screen froze and I was worried that I had some bad assembly code (Remember I had no idea of what was going on) I figured it would be impossible to fix, so I forgot about it for a while. Then last year I (finally) found the right screwdriver to open it up and discovered that the LCD ribbon cable was detached from the circuit board. I was wondering if it would be possible to fix this, and if so, how I should do it. Here are some pictures of the calculator opened up:

Some people have had success reheating the cable with a soldering iron on a low head with a wide tip - but with it fully detached the main challenge will be lining it up correctly.

This is for the 82, but the same principal might apply.

Sounds good, I will try that. Any suggestions for lining it up? I was thinking I could try to line them up with a magnifying glass, and then tape it down a little on either end so it would stay in place. I'm not sure if that would work, though.
