I want to connect a small lipo battery to a USB charging circuit, but the circuit I have right now was designed for a 18650 cell and can supply up to 1A. While I understand that current alone does not force its way into into batteries, I am unsure if the battery should limit its current intake. Is it possible that the small battery will pull more current than it can handle safely?
