Making a new thread because I don't want to hijack the one from the 1.12 server. This isn't just for my renderings, feel free to post your own screenshots here too.

I've started with the renderings again. This time, I am using Mineways + the Blender Cycles renderer rather than Chunky. Under the hood rendering happens the same way, but I get more control with Blender.

Did you intentionally make your renderings grainy? And some of those whites are super bright.

The grainyness is actually caused by the rendering method used. I need to reconfigure the script because lights are way too bright, which is what is causing that issue. I think it might be caused by the fact that Minecraft's lighting uses a bunch of small lights, while the Cycles renderer works best with a few large lights with simple shapes, which is basically the opposite of this scene.

Are you using the glass shader for the glass blocks? If so, that is definitely what's causing it. Try instead of using that, just using a transparency shader mixed with a glossy shader with 0 roughness. That usually fixes it for me. Adjust the mix setting untill it looks like glass

For my 1000th death on the server, our lord comic (ALL HAIL) sacrificed me in the church/temple GregsAStar and I constructed.

Thank you comic for taking time out of your day to do this, it took a lot longer due to unexpected technical difficulties but was definitely one of the more interesting experiences I've had on the server.

I've been running around the server a bunch lately with Sildurs Vibrant Shaders on and snapped a bunch of cool pics. Mind you, I only have a 2012 Macbook Pro at the moment, so I'm not getting very good fps doing this. Nonetheless, I am really happy with what I got. Here's a few things I've captured:
