Using the GIMP, I made these animations from some high-speed photographs I found here, thought you guys would enjoy.

Sweet! I might think them perfect if you slowed down the framerate by a factor of two...

It's pretty easy to make animated GIFs in GIMP. Just have each frame be a layer. Then save as a GIF and set the options.
Yeah, if you have a series of images, just drop them into layers, save as GIF, and choose Animation instead of Flatten Layers.

Looks nice, but I'd rather not have an app just for the one purpose when I have an infinitely more powerful one that can do the same thing but with more adjustments, GIF editing beforehand, etc.
