Hello everyone!

We're back with another POTM article (on the very same day we posted the previous one), so buckle up! Our team is currently on a roll right now with the POTMs, and we're hoping we can get all the way caught up as soon as possible.

June 2017 didn't have quite as many projects or completed projects as the two preceding months, but we still had some good ones nonetheless (as you'll be able to see below). Here they all are:

  • Dragon Warrior: Pieman7373 has continued to work on his Dragon Warrior RPG port to the CE! This month hasn't seen a lot of progress, but the project is looking great nonetheless! Check out the screenshots in the thread.

  • ICE Color Picker: A simple yet powerful tool, dankcalculatorbro has created an ICE program that lets you select a color from a table of colors, and get the color value for use in your own ICE program. There are screenshots and a download link in the thread, so go take a look!

  • Kerbal Space Program CE: TheLastMillennial has been hard at work on this, and he has even blessed us with a screenshot this month! Going from the home screen to the graph screen was a big change, but it looks like it's going to be worth it! Go check out all the shenanigans in the thread if you're interested.

  • Making a Scientific Calculator: Botboy3000 has been working hard on another hardware project, a simple scientific calculator! There are buttons, batteries, soldering, 7-segment displays and all the fun stuff electronic engineers enjoy. Even if you're not an electronic engineer, go take a look at this fun project!

  • Pixel Dungeon Port: Another project by dankcalculatorbro, Pixel Dungeon is a top-down RPG for the TI-84+ CE, based on the original Pixel Dungeon game. There are codes and screenshots in the linked thread!

  • Self-Defined Object System: shkaboinka has been working on his Self-Defined Object System. As stated by shkaboinka, this is "a software system that can be reshaped & modified in an ad-hoc manner by the end user, and can thus be whatever you want, or be used to create tools to do whatever you want." I don't exactly understand everything that's going on here, but it sounds amazing nonetheless!

  • SNAKE for the TI-84 Plus CE in ICE: A recreation of a classic game, TheGeekyScientist has decided to try to make his own version in the ICE programming language. There are multiple skins and other small variations to the game, and it looks great so far!

  • Sound on the TI-84 Plus CE: OldNewTimer has successfully played sound on the CE, using an ICE program he wrote, a photo resistor, and an external speaker. There is a video and explanation in the thread. This one is definitely worth a look!

  • The Oregon Trail CE: OldNewTimer made some good progress on his popular Oregon Trail port to the TI-84+CE in ICE! This month, he has tied up a few loose ends, though he is still not completely done with the project. He has released a beta version of the program though, so go check it out! Download link is in the link to the thread.

  • A really complicated made-up language: Hactar has been hard at work on this this month. The project is exactly what the title says it is; a really complicated, made-up language, which only a few may be able to understand. It's an intriguing idea, so go check it out if you're interested!

  • Unity3D Gravity manipulation demo: Another project by Hactar, this tech demo allows movement in a 3d world, grabbing onto boxes, and walking on walls and ceilings. While it's not exactly a completed project, the video in the thread looks outstanding!

  • Pypad: Ordelore has created his very own launchpad (an electronic music-making device) in python for PC. There is a download in the thread, so go try it out!

  • Preparing and displaying a 4-level grayscale image: Created in python and assembly, and intended for use on the TI-83+, this project aims to convert any image into a 4-level grayscale image that can be displayed on the calculator. There is a link to the GitHub repo in the link, which has much more explanation! Go take a look.

  • Sorcery of Uvutu: 123outerme has completed this marvelous project, finally! Sorcery of Uvutu is another fun top-down RPG, and there are screenshots and downloads available in the thread. I'm sure you all will enjoy this one!

And that's it for June 2017! We're very proud of all the Cemetechians and their projects, even though we wish they would slow down Razz (just kidding, keep them coming!). Be sure to vote for your favorite completed project this month, comment why you voted for it and post what you liked about the other projects, and be on the look out for next month's article!
Oh man this was a hard one to judge. I finally settled on sound for the TI 84 Plus CE because it's sound, on the CE, and I love the out-of-the-box thinking! Very Happy
