Chatbot Harnessing ELIZA's Logic to Simulate Emotional Analysis
This is a chatbot based off of ELIZA, the first chatbot ever made. It is meant to be a parody of a Rogerian psychologist, using "natural language processing" to frame the user's responses into questions. This has unintentionally created what is called the "ELIZA Effect", the feeling that a computer program can understand user input in a deep way, when in fact it is meaningless to the computer. This, in turn, unintentionally helped it pass the Turing test.
