Saving Problem With WabbitEmu

When I first got WabbitEmu, exiting the emulator and restarting it would save my data. All of the sudden a month ago, it kept starting up with the same data and left off at the same place. A few weeks ago, my active ROM got corrupted so I reuploaded it and now every time I start WabbitEmu it starts from the RAM cleared notifier and all data is gone. Anyone know why/how to fix this?
You could re-download the whole emulator or use save files.
