That is a complicated legal question. In the purest definition of the law, it usually depends on whether or not the installation of Ndless resulted in a defect. For example, if you install Ndless and then make a claim about the buttons not pushing in correctly, it would be "wrong" for TI to say that they will not fix your keypad (hardware) because you installed Ndless (software), but they would probably do it anyway because most people would not take manufacturers to small claims court over warranty problems. (see Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975)

So, for most people including yourself, "yes, it voids your warranty," but if you have a lawyer in your toolbox, the answer becomes "no."
No, ndless does not void your warranty, it's not a gray zone.
