I recently purchased a TI nspire CX and I was looking at the revision and saw it said AB as the last 2 letters, I have never heard of a 2 letter revision, does it mean prototype or something like that??
EDIT: P-0517AB is the whole last part.
It's definitely not a prototype, because the datecode is from a few months ago, which is not early 2011. The prototypes actually have the words "NOT FOR SALE" where you would expect the datecode to be. AB is actually a new hardware revision, soooo congratulations, you've got yourself a brand new ti-nspire CX.
