I present my biggest, most ambitious project as so far: BOSshell, a new shell for TI-84+CE, written in ICE compiler language. I had to make new code recently, due to the inherent messiness of the source code.
I am eager to accept any help towards this project.

BOSshell is now 2.00.00! (fourth revision)
This project is approximately 2% complete.

DONE:
nothing other than a few concepts

IN PROGRESS:
conceptualization of file formats

TO-DO:
various subroutines
Filesystem
File Deleter
Input method
File viewer and editor
Folder system
Customizable color scheme
Homepage
File management
File creator
File importer

And basically anything that you guys want me to add after!

NOTES:
This project could be done anywhere from a week to a few months, (or not at all depending on ICE functionality and my ability to use it).
BOSshell stands for Beckadam Operating System Shell.
All 'percent complete' values are approximate and are subject to change.

More updates coming: Usually more frequently than weekly
Screenshots?? otherwise, Cool!!

Sorry, not quite yet, the old source used to work, but I overwrote it, and the new source wont compile!
But more progress as soon as ICE is fixed (or if I can figure out what I did wrong!)
(I might just decide to redo it from scratch again, might take me another sixteen hours of hardcore programming Laughing )

I posted it in the Sticky for ICE Compiler

First Screenshot!
(sorry for the outdated emulator, haven't dumped the ROM from OS 5.3 yet)
COOL! Smile

Is that following DCSE format?

Thank you! Very Happy
This shell is VERY much still in development (I had to restart the whole project recently) Sad
Why BOSShell? Because it's gonna be da boss of shells? Wink
Looks like WindowsCE... Cool! (even though there isn't much, still looks promising) Keep it up!
Stop reminding me to get BonziCE screenshots!!! I have school!!!!! jk, I do need to put them up...

Not exactly... So far at least.
Would it be better if it had the same keys?
Same filesystem?
I've been trying unsuccessfully (6K of code later) to do a routine to detect the prgms, so I might just do an Appvar-based system and allow importing prgms by name.

I meant that it's in like boxes and rows like in DCSE, as opposed to Cesium's line format.

Laughing Windows CE sounds like an Idea... beyond the capabilities of ICE though...

0x5 Windows CE sounds like an Idea... beyond the capabilities of ICE though...

You'd either have to learn C, or tell Mateo to make it.

DOS might be possible. Not much more than that though...
