That’s a good point. I didn’t even think about that!

I bet this would hold true in a bunch of different branches of software, too.
I refuse to accept being called anything less than ninja rockstar C++ wizard X86 lord knight king Python samurai programmer DBA superstar.
I like being called a programmer because I make programs, but I use "programmer/programming" interchangeably with "coder/coding" with the latter being shorthand.
"Programmer" sounds too imposing imo. I usually prefer "Game Developer" or "Coder"
