I have a TI-83+ and I wonder if I can switch the 2.5mm port on the bottom for a micro USB port. If that's possible, will it still receive and transmit data?
no, and no (i think)
because the encoding for the i/o port is different from usb, i think
Well, guess I have to look for TI Connectivity Cables.
You might be able to cram a SilverLink in there. Unless some sort of switch is added and a separate port is used, it'll hurt calculator-to-calculator linking.
