Well first post.

I recently got the Ti-84 plus CE.
I'm an EEE student so I have to work a lot with phasors. In rectangular form and polar form.
I noticed that when I tried to input polar numbers in polar degrees mode.
Such as 4*e^(-30i).
I get an Error: domain. This should not happen as I'm within domain.

If I do this in radians mode and multiply the 30 by pi and divide by 180. I can get the answer in radians form. And then put the mode to degrees and that will give me the correct answer.
But if I press enter on the answer and press enter again, I will get the error in degrees mode.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug.
Some help is appreciated.
