Background:
I have a TI-84 calculator and I installed Omnicalc on it, but whenever I clear a line on the homescreen with Mathprint on, my calculator crashes :-/. Only after uninstalling Omnicalc does my calculator stop doing this. Also, if I disable Mathprint, the problem goes away.
I read up a bit on this on WikiTI, etc. and they all say that Omnicalc isn't compatible with anything related to Mathprint. Also, the author has not updated it in forever and the bug is unresolved. (I know I could just disable Mathprint, but I was hoping for something better.)

Actual Question:
The closest I came to a real solution was this archived thread that used to be from UnitedTI which has some sort of beta version that won't crash with Mathprint (with features disabled). Unfortunately, I can't find the attached beta anywhere. Does somebody have the file on their computer and would be willing to share it (upload it somewhere, attach it, anything would be fine)?

Thanks Smile

Oh, that old thing. What do you want Omnicalc for? These days, most people customize with zStart. Anyway, I still have my modified version around.
Or if you only need the Sprite() and ExecAsm() commands, you can also use Doors CS 7.
Certain Omnicalc features will crash when used with MathPrint enabled. If I recall correctly, they are partial line clearing, parentheses assistant, and the entries menu.

Really? Does that fix the incompatibilities I mentioned above (or at least disable those features when MathPrint is enabled)?
It just disables those features and detects if there's 48 K of RAM.
Thanks DrDnar for your fixed version. I was wanting it because Symbolic doesn't work correctly without Omnicalc: instead of using real(XX, ) it keeps giving me weird symbols when I install it without Omnicalc. (Some of my TI-BASIC programs depend on Symbolic.) Your version works great!

I'm kinda new to the calculator programming thing so I'm sorry if I say something stupid. I know higher level programming like C++, etc. but I'm new to assembly.

I got zStart and it looks awesome, except for one problem. When I turn the Omnicalc setting on in zStart, it keeps giving my ERR:UNDEFINED when I try going back to the home screen. It then wipes all the zStart settings I had so far and it removes all hooks from other apps (but it doesn't crash the calculator). If I press "Save current settings" for Omnicalc in zStart, it says "Success!", so I know that zStart is detecting Omnicalc, it just doesn't seem to be compatible with it. Is this because I have DrDnar's modified version of Omnicalc?
If I keep the zStart Omnicalc option set at no, the problem doesn't happen, but then Omnicalc and Symbolic get uninstalled, breaking some of my programs.

Should I start a new thread for this problem?

(Oh and sorry for the late reply, I had a ton of homework to do this week :/)
It's probably because zStart is not detecting the modified Omnicalc. I'm not sure why---ask the author. I think other people have had the same problem, but I don't recall the exact discussion. As I recall, zStart is hard coded to work with only one exact version of Omnicalc in some special way, and modifying Omnicalc moved things around and it's not smart enough to find them again.
I know this is an old post, but I really really need omnicalc to not be buggy, as I'm taking a big test soon (that allows programs) and accidentally pressing the clear button in the middle of a line causes the bug. The modified version would work perfectly, but the link seems to be broken. Can anyone please post an updated link?

Thanks in advance

Also, this is my first post on this site, so idk how things work around here.

EDIT: After some searching, I found this site which has the download https://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=1731&play=0 just in case anyone else was looking for it Smile

Huh, I didn't know One Drive links went stale. Gotta love those Frenchmen!
