Minecraft's subforum needs to be separated from the Freebuild forum, and UT2004 really needs a subforum (it's a sanctioned Cemetech service with no home). Perhaps it is also possible to show the subforums at http://mc.cemetech.net/ and http://ut.cemetech.net/ ? The reorganization will help people find the information they are looking for, since currently both are a mess.
This would probably be better suited for the suggestion topic but it works.

Perhaps what we could do is rename the sub-forum "Building with Blocks" to "Cemetech Gaming" and break out each service into a category. Having A subforum with one category and sub-sub-forums(?) underneath that is not ideal. I agree.

I do link to the Minecraft forum from http://mc.cemetech.net but I don't think it's feasible to only display that forum.
There was the whole "Play @ Cemetech" thing about two years back, perhaps the forum structure you propose can be implemented under the P@C name. It'll be easier for people to find their relevant interests there while maintaining a division between gaming and the calculator sections.
I agree with the forums not being the most organized under the freebuild category. Everything could be arranged better, and I like the idea of making individual sub-forums for at least two relatively significant games with respect to this community. At least from my experience with Minecraft both in regard to gameplay and monitoring the forums, I would be happy to assist in structuring it so everything flows much more nicely. (Comic, Kerm?)

In regard to Minecraft, there's a lot of scattered topics under the primary freebuild forum, as well as the sub forums under freebuild. It'd be much cleaner to have a single Minecraft forum, then put sub forums under the Minecraft forum for different categories of topics such as server activities, discussions like the ones we have been having for MC 1.9, etc. Having to scroll through a whole list of things that are not related to what I'm searching for is not so ideal. Especially for people who are not as familiar with the Cemetech forums, it'd be much more easy for someone to click something like "Cemetech Gaming" then "Minecraft" then to whatever topic or branch of topics they're interested in.
'Cemetech Gaming' would be the title of the category, and Minecraft the subforum; it'll only be 1 click away Smile

This is now a thing. I have a sub-forum for Minecraft, Freebuild, Unreal Tournament and, Other Games. I'm in the process of moving the topics to the correct sub-forums.

The moderators of each sub-forum will be able to work within those forums. They can create and sticky a topic for suggestions and another for issues if they desire. For now there will not be a hidden forum for the moderators of the corresponding game to discuss privately amongst themselves. Maybe if SAX ever get's the ability to ignore those types of posts (in "hidden" topics) I'll create those sub-forums.
