Hey, I was just working today on something, and then accidentally my USB crashed or whatever, I can't reach it anymore. When I plug it in, the File Explorer can't find the USB anymore. When I go to the Device Manager, and open the USB, I get this: (Dutch)
which says that the request for a device descriptor is failed (?). When I click on Properties, it shows me that the "Device is not migrated" and "Device configured" and "Device not started". What can I do to restore my USB?
Unfortunately, it sounds like your USB drive has experienced a hardware failure of some sort. I'm sure you already tried another USB port and another computer?

Sure, both my 2.0 and 3.0 USB ports, and other laptops/computers - still no result.
Yep, I'm afraid it's very likely you're out of luck.
You said on IRC that you had backups, albeit outdated; it seems like you'll have to start from those. Have you emailed any of the documents in states later than your backup lately, or saved them anywhere else? Good luck.

Well yeah, I lost some very important documents for my exams next week. That backup was only of not-important or downloaded-in-2-minutes stuff.
