It's a long story, but here's the gist: I have a zip file that is supposed to flash a new ROM to my phone. First, however, it uses a script to check that it's compatible. Basically, it pulls "ro.product.device" and compares it to the string "GiONEE_M3". If it's equal, it proceeds. However, even though "ro.product.device" on my phone is "GiONEE_M3" (and I've double checked this countless times), it always returns "M3" for the value and won't proceed with flashing. Does anybody know why it keeps doing this, or does anybody have an idea?
