They don't offer Physics to IB students at my school, and since I'm finishing Alg 2 this year, they won't let me take AP calc next year. 
I understood those equations because I've been studying a few Calc books in the past weeks. The guidance counselors (what the hell do they know about math anyway? ) say even if you do that, you still can't get it. I'll prove them wrong.
Indeed you should. Try looking at the Kinematics chapter in any basic physics book; that should help a lot.
