i ran the ti boy app for the ti 84 and it puled up this adjustris thing and it would let me play tetris but it wouldent let me out then i mashed all of the buttons and the screen went corrupt. its non responsive to button presses besides the on button. i need help.
It may be possible that the buttons may be broken, or the circuits that detect the key presses are broken. Either way, I think that your calculator is shot, and you probably need to get a new one.
I find it unlikely that your calculator is completely ruined. Have you tried removing and reinserting a battery (or if this is an 84+CSE, pressing the reset button on the back) and then trying to turn the calculator back on?
If I recall correctly, TI-Boy does some weird things to the OS to be more optimized. if you hold [Del] while pulling and reinserting a battery does the calculator go to a useful screen? If so, you can re-install the OS from a computer
I'm with Hooloovoo and Runer112 on this. Try resetting by pulling a battery or hitting the tiny RESET button on the back. If that fails, perform the steps that Hooloovoo outlined to invalidate the OS and load a new OS.
