I am needing a bit or help rewriting a program. I've never done it before and it all looks like alien language to me.

I have a ti 84 plus se and the program I have is in 8xp. Please please it's very urgent.
Well, if the program is a .8xp, then you should be able to just load it directly to your calculator and run it, unless you mean you have the color 84+?
Yes I have the color one

You should still be able to use a TI-83+/TI-84+ BASIC program on the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition, but you may need to adjust aspects of the program for the different screen size. Did you try loading it to see what would happen? What is the program that you're working with?
currently I am trying to use a implicit derivative program but it says error:argument (sp)

There have been quite a few programs that I can load the basic programs but I have the above error or a variable undefined error.
We would need a link to the program to see what we could do with it.
I have been having a similar problem with Block Dude for the 84 PCSE. (http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/457/45771.html) I start the game and then it errors and says: ERROR: SYNTAX Check all arguments entered. Can you guys help me? When I go to GOTO ERROR its is in another program called OTMPBLK. Is the downlaod faulty from ticalc.org?
Edit: I had thought: Maybe it is a simple error that I can fix. But, the problem seems to be a string of numbers.
Unicorn, make sure you are running Doors CSE 8

I am, I think there is something wrong with the code.
Hmm, I just downloaded it and tried it and it works fine for me... Are you sure you sent all 4 files to your calc?
Wierd, you downloaded it from ticalc.org?

When I download the basic files to my calculator it then says error: variable undefined.

This is supposed to be a "fixed" version but I still have the same problems.

It's fixed in that certain formulas and functions work as intended, per the readme.txt. You'll note that the Date & Time of the uploaded on ticalc.org is September 3rd, 2012. The CSE came out, officially, in 2013.

Do you have an option to press "2: Goto" when you get the error? If so, what does the line look like so we can help? If you don't, can you tell us any steps required to recreate the error or is it as easy as starting the program?
It sends me to a different program called OMPBLBK or something. Yes, I just have to start the program and it sends me to the error.
kfreeman2470: The program you are looking at is a program that is intended for use with only monochrome calculators. It will not work with the color calculator because it uses the picture variables. You cannot transfer the included picture variables to you calculator.

Unicorn: Be sure to have DoorsCSE 8.1.1. There was an issue with one of the hybrid commands in DoorsCSE 8.1.0. Make sure that you launch BlockDude after DoorsCSE has be activated.

Thanks Electromagnet8 I didn't think that my version of Doors might me outdated. Razz
Is it possible anyone can recommend a good one for my calculator. It seems there aren't really any out there

this program was made in 2014 and I still get error: undefined ?
Because it is still not a TI 84+CSE calculator. Even though these two versions of calculator look similar, their underlying OS is almost completely different in terms of the display. All programs must be rewritten, which really stinks.

EDIT: BTW, just learn calculus. It gets easier the better you understand it, just like most things. Wink

So I can't re write them? APP 4 CALC

http://www.ticalc.org/pub/83plus/basic/math/calculus/app4calc.zip

it was made in 2014.

I've tried to learn anti derivatives and implicit differentiation on my own but it's very hard. Also I'm not a math wiz. I have an 1 week left total in my course and these two particular sections are what I have the worst luck on.
