Hmmm... Seeing as Pokemon Tanzanite is on hold, I've decided to try to create a Mario Party game in Hybrid-Basic. So, far, I've got most of the sprites done, and I THINK I've got the basic idea for the coding down, but that requires testing...
Anywho, any ideas/requests?

Is this a monochrome game, a color game, or both? I'm not personally familiar with this game, but perusing the Wikipedia page makes it sound like essentially a board game. Do you have a plan in mind for how you're going to go about building the game rendering and mechanics? How will you handle multiplayer?

It's going to be monochrome. I plan on using two, or maybe more if need be, matrices: one for tilemap data, and one for direction/interactive data (e.g., 1=up, 5.2=special space, stuff like that). As for multiplayer, I mainly plan on having one other AI as for now, and may change it to add three other AIs later. With other people, I would probably make it so everyone plays on one calc.
Maybe the minigames would have their own subprogram. That might make things easier to handle.

EDIT: Well, now I have the dice going pretty well, and maps are in production. I've got the map movement down, and the spritesheet is finished (I think...)! It's progressing pretty quickly, and I hope to get screenies up soon!
To do: Implement sprites; add the shop, lottery, and boo square; create mini-games; add people (that's pretty important!); and a title screen! Hopefully, this'll be done in about two-three weeks.
