Hello,
I have made a .8xp file, but and I can't send it to my TI-83 plus.
So, I am looking how to fix the program or at least get a .txt version of it.
I have already try to open it with Sourcecoder but :
"ANOVA: Detokenization process failed at ...0xbb, 0x6d, ...Prevous context was: (backtrack was [187,109])"
What does it mean? Do I have to change something by using a editor?
Thanks
This is an assembly program; is that what you were trying to make? What program is it?
Edit: I've made that deduction from the bytes $BB, $6D, which flag the beginning of a so-called "nostub" assembly program for the TI-83+.
Thanks for the answer !
It's a file that I get from TiDoc, I'm not really trying to make a program for now.
I'm really a beginner in this world but I want to learn...

Well, you've come to the right place! Unfortunately, an assembly program won't help you much if you're a beginner just getting started. However, looking at code is an excellent way to start learning, so I recommend you grab files from our TI-83 Plus/TI-84 Plus BASIC program archives and try looking at some of those. Of course, I also must suggest "Programming the TI-83 Plus/TI-84 Plus" as a good place to get started.
Oh thanks for the advice, I will. It'll be good for my studies
But do you think there is anything to do about my .8xp file? I'll loose 3hours of work...
Because by using TiDoc I've convert a .text file in .8xp... And I've writing this file during 3 hours ! SourceCoder was my last hope

I'm sure that the text is still extractable from it. In fact, you could even try opening the file in a text editor to see if there is recognizable text in it. If you get stuck, you're welcome to share the file with us to see if we can make anything of it. In the future, might I recommend Document DE 7, which has an online .txt <> .8xp converter at that link?
Yes I can get extract some part of my texte minus special caracters with a text editor, but thanks to the converter of your link I'm actually get back my whole text, I think I'll be able to rewrite it !
Thanks for support a "newbie", I've already learned a lot of things...

Ah, that's great news! I guess the TIDoc and Document DE file formats are sufficiently similar that the converter was able to make sense of the TIDoc document.

It's our pleasure; I hope we'll see you around here.
