I was wondering if there was a way to write a graph, in the "Y=" that looked something like y = 3, x < 4, so you would get the straight line of y = 3, but it would only be for x values less than 4.
If anyone has any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated!
I typed into line Y1= 3(X<4) and it gave an interesting line:

Is this what you are wanting it to do?

You could force the line to go to infinity at X≥4 to extend that effect even more:

Couldn't you just divide the function by the domain?
Eg. Y1=3/(X<4)

The calculator doesn't graph undefined values if it is divided by 0.

Like this you could add multiple domains to a single function like so:
Y1=3/((X>-3)(X<4))

That is directly equivalent to what I did; I just multiplied by a separate term in order to make it clearer why I was dividing by the domain. Smile
You have to put the equation and the domain in parentheses.

Y1=(3)(x<4)
