When you make a Assignment using the TI-Learning Check Creator, it saves it as a .tar file with an .edc file extension.
When uncompressed, two XML files: manifest.xml and qti.xml.
I looked at in Vim each line in the qti.xml file has "^M" at the end, but otherwise, the file looks normal. Since the application is greatly outdated, it would be cool for someone to make an application that uses the same format of the XML files. Here's a link to an example.
