Kerm, I know a webmaster of a forum, and he happens to be having problems iwith his forum.
the error he gets when trying to post a new topic is

What's with this message saying there's no posts in half the topics I want to read?
The database was corrupted when the site went down.
Yup, about 7000 posts were lost, although strangely I have the post data, e.g. everything except the text of the posts.
That's helpful.
Eh, it occured to me that maybe there's a way to partially reconstruct the posts from the search data, but I don't know how that would work...
