Anyone heard of the gopher protocol?

Apparently gopher was competing with http back in the early 90's?

And gopher still exists. Firefox supports it Razz

What browser are you currently using? If you are using IE, good god yes. If you are using Chrome or Opera, you might not care to switch. If you are using Safari, just continue to let Apple make decisions for you.

But you should follow the above regardless of support for Gopher (which isn't going to go anywhere - its a relic from the past)
mainly I use chrome, but it started being really slow (probably hardware more than software Razz).
