Awesome, all I need is Ultimate Dev'r with too much time on his hands. Very Happy

This is an unnerving prospect.

Ult: are you planning on going back next semester?

Not sure; these past couple years at college have been pretty boring/not worth $40K. If I do return it'll be when the recession ends and I'll probably be changing majors.

Boring? Dude, if that's the case, you're doing something completely wrong. Find the theatre kids and offer to do tech for them. Lingerie-themed cast parties FTW! Good Idea

And if you change majors, what would it be from/to?

I am too lazy to actually make my own post so instead I quote people and then don't say anything new.

Also, to answer the original question, after scholarships, my final bill for this semester came out to be around $1450. My parents are picking that up, so I'm left with paying $600 for car insurance this year (which fails since I won't be driving anywhere), my textbooks, and stuff for my dorm room (like fan, humidifier, dishes, new external HD, etc).
Two years and no debt, thank you community college. Next semester will suck though since I plan on transferring to Virginia Tech.

Are you local to Virginia Tech? If so are you using the guaranteed collage admission program? Which Community collage?

I was referring more to the courses; I'll have to go check out the theater department Very Happy

I'd probably switch from ECE (Electrical and Computer Engineering) to Comp Sci like all you peons or Aerospace.

suburbia is basically garbage. that's all. I'll live rural, or I'll live urban, but no frakking way I'll live suburban.
