ok ima pro-noob if there is one

but im gettin used to TBM and have been bulding for a couple of weeks

i thought it would be the sweetest if i could run a full time server, so people can join and build, while im in it as well

but when i start a server, and someone joins up(i presume)
i can chat with them through the IRC channel, but they are not on my server

ive looked for a solution in the forums but couldnt find an answer

could i have updated it wrong? like the "poser" name issue?

IRC is different from them being connected to your server. You need to make sure portforwarding is set up on your router and/or modem.
