Well, i've watched this show a few times (both in French and English) and i really like it. If you have not seen this show before, a new episode airs Tomorrow, Friday the 20th at 10PM ET/PT on CBS. Don't ask me what channel, because it may be completely different based on you location. However, if you are using Comcast if you go to on demand >>network shows >>CBS >>Numb3rs there should be three episodes from the past season. I really recommend watching this because it's really intriguing.
note: there is also CSI and such that you can choose from if you feel like watching. Also, this is completely free, so don't be scared that you'll lose like $4 or whatever.
If anyone else has seen this show, leave comments on what you think. Heck, I may be the only one that likes it!
Its KPIX if that helps. I have not missed an episode sense season one ^_^ I now record it in HD (705 for me) so I get surround sound, I did as well in the Normal Definition. Its an awsome show, its real math, just FYI.

Yes, that's why i love it.
I like how they let anyone into their house >.>
I think its going to bite them in the rear later on though...
I liked it when it first started airing, but it has steadily gotten to have less and less math, and more and more love story elements - which means it has progressively gotten worse, as far as I'm concerned.
Numb3rs is one of my favorite shows. I like the earliest episodes best, but that's the way it is with most shows (sadly). My fav episode was the backdraft arsonist episode, closely followed by the maniacal high school teacher episode.

I agree. This is Numb3rs not Rom4nce. More calculating and less kissing IMHO.
Agreed. Especially how Charlie's dad is dating his boss, that's just weird. And I never really figured out why the astrophysicist is sleeping in his car. Details like that should really be left out of the Bigger Picture of the story. Too confusing.
Didn't that astrophysicist go into outer space? And isn't Charlie dating too? The show is definitely getting WAY too confusing.
Oh yeah, that could be. And yeah, Charlie is dating his TA.

"I've got an idea! Let's send him up into outer space, regardless of the fact that he has had no flight training, is old and fat and probably in no condition to be withstanding extreme gravitational forces! Nobody will ever know the difference!
Except us.

Ain't that the truth. Seriously, I could find no good reason why they sent him into outer space. Why couldn't they send him to another state or something?
Because it would be too easy to bring him back. If he just goes to another state, they can Deus ex machina him back any time by saying the FBI pays for his plane ticket because Charlie has a problem he can't solve by himself.
Now, a good kind of detail was like when Charlie bought the house from his dad. That's good character development right there, and also something that real math geeks can totally laugh at. Because face it, how many people at this forum are more likely to spend their income on accessories for their calc as opposed to food, rent, bills? Maybe electricity and Internet, but the rest? Forget it.
They don't really have to. I mean even though having him go to another state would allow for that, they can still forget about him. Heck, did they really have to get rid of him anyway?
No, of course they didn't have to get rid of him. He might have gotten a better offer or didn't like the part anymore or any number of arcane reasons, mostly related to the seemingly alternate reality of syndicated TV shows. But all that aside, the way they removed him was a bad way to do it, especially given their strict reality basis in math.
He was one of my favorite characters though. Ah well. We ought to let bygones be bygones, right?
We probably should. I mean, he's not coming back anyway, he's in outer space! Or at least training to go up there.
Wait, that's right, they did leave that hook, that he might not make it through the training program. So they may bring him back after all.
Let's just wait and see, then.
I do hope they bring him back though.
Well, you've got your wish. Did you see it last night? I actually thought about running upstairs to my computer and posting while it was happening. They brought Larry back, except now they're going to send him away again, this time to a monestary. They're getting more ridiculous by the minute.
I liked the shoot out.
That episode ranked #2 on my list after the 'Brutus' episode
What ever happened to Granger? I just noticed she wasn't in last nights episode...
I've been preoccupied lately. I think I missed the last episode....wait they sent him to a monestary? Are you certain? That IS rediculous (a physicist seems out of place in a monestary)
