Personally, I have a cathode in mine, which I stuck next to the 5.25'' drive bays, out of sight of the window. Wait a bit, and I'll have some pics.

@TheStorm: Mine was initially around $1350-$1400. After some upgrades (and windows), it's now about $1500

I did this myself, and while its not a smooth cut, some sandpaper did wonders on my jagged cuts, and it looks just fine. Its ugly if you examine it up close, but the point of getting better airflow was achieved. Some of the best mods are all about function over form, don't forget that. Besides, just slap on a $5 'wire' grill (like the ones you often see on PSUs, the wire circle style) and it'll conveniently cover the spot you cut
