Using the GIMP, I made these animations from some high-speed photographs I found here, thought you guys would enjoy.
It's pretty easy to make animated GIFs in GIMP. Just have each frame be a layer. Then save as a GIF and set the options.
Yeah, if you have a series of images, just drop them into layers, save as GIF, and choose Animation instead of Flatten Layers.
I just use UnFREEz. http://www.whitsoftdev.com/unfreez/ It's not bad for a <20kb download.

Looks nice, but I'd rather not have an app just for the one purpose when I have an infinitely more powerful one that can do the same thing but with more adjustments, GIF editing beforehand, etc. Register to Join the Conversation
