I spotted the Evo-T for sale, giving us what I think is the first picture we have if it?

Neat to see another color variant (sort of) as well!
I wonder if there will be school property variants of the EVO. What do y'all think?
Yes they've been mentioned in various stores (with SKUs etc. IIRC). However we don't have any pictures/renderings yet.

You would think that Texas instrument would at least announce the new Calculator this month or at least before everything starts shipping because we’re less than the 30 day mark, but surprisingly they haven’t said anything yet
Connection.com removed the one listing before, but now there are multiple ones for various colors.

https://www.connection.com/IPA/Shop/Product/Search?SearchType=1&term=TI-84%20Evo

So far it lists:

- Teal
- Silver Metallic
- Pink
- Mint
- Raspberry Metallic
- EZSpot 10 Pack
- Teacher Pack
- Lavender

It doesn't show images for these, but the listings are there. You can purchase them but shipping ETAs aren't displayed, assuming they won't ship until the 28th
2^4 days till the 4th calculator in the line of TI-84s come out.

Do you think that TI will also release a new nspire soon?

Could be, there was 8 years between CX and CX II, though at least in Finland high school system has just started to use CX II based TI ExamCalc (ref: https://www.ylioppilastutkinto.fi/fi/tutkinnon-toimeenpano/kokeen-tekniset-jarjestelyt/koejarjestelman-oheisohjelmat ) and I think they don't want to make another new calculator announcement in same year as new TI-84, so maybe need to wait that for another year or two.

the site has removed that listing... man this is very interesting, and honestly shocking. Site after site is adding listings and removing constantly and TI hasn't said a thing about the Evo (to my knowledge) so this is very weird...

Hold up, I just realized... A EVO-T !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Shock

I don't think TI really has much of an impetus to make a new TI-Nspire: the only real competitor it has is the HP Prime, and the Prime doesn't seem to be threatening its market penetration for gradeschool math students. The TI-84 Plus CE, on the other hand, has the Zero, the NumWorks calculators, and of course the Casio Prizm family: I would expect that the NumWorks devices and Prizms were more of an inspiration/competitor for the TI-84 Evo than the Zero, especially given the icon-based homescreen on the new calculator.

I don't think so. Most of the calculators they sell go to middle or high schoolers. They aren't as heavily based in the post-high school market, which makes me think they won't release a new Nspire soon or at all.

In addition to post-high school not being their niche, the Nspire has also sort of hit the ceiling. It's so good that I can't think of many things that would make it any more advanced without making it a literal luxury that couldn't just be added in an OS update.

I do hope we get another QWERTY calc like the 68k ones. Imagine a modern-day Voyage 200!
