Yes it's generally done by uploading to Imgur (better if you log in there, keeps images safer from deletion) and then using their direct link in the [img] bbcode on the forums.
As for MyCalcs, you have an edit button above your profile page's collection table. You can click that to make the table editable and click the cell from the photo column and there you can paste the link to your Imgur image.
For the whole collection picture you can set that in your account/profile settings page (see the top/menu bar)
A humble start to collecting:
Now I have a TI-Nspire CAS+ prototype.
Edit: I must give credit to clevor for spotting this one on eBay; I snagged it after it went out of his price range, and he generously shared the link with the rest of us.
Here is my current collection:

(a lot of extremely large images)
Please consider shrinking the images. Unfortunately, the forum can't do it for you, you'll have to shrink each one individually.
Off-topic but I have an updated image of my collection (and it's already outdated, I got another CX CAS since the taking of this picture)
Link to the picture because it too is very large.
Starring 29 calculators.
New collection picture (36 calcs)
Surprised that I found a TI-84 Plus Pocket SE.
If you can't tell from the image (for some strange reason), I have (left to right) a TI-84 Plus CE Python, a TI-83 Plus, a TI-nspire CX (which I "gave" to my brother because of stupid OS 4.5.5), a TI-30Xa, and a TI-30XIIS. I'm thinking about getting a new nspire CX (maybe a II or a CAS).
My Calculators:
----TI-84 Plus CE Python (OS 5.8.2.0029)
----TI-83 Plus (OS 1.19)
Casio fx-300ES Plus (Only, this one's screen is broken)
TI-30XS Multiview (Nothing has happened to this one yet!)
I used to also have a TI-30Xa, but one of my classmates stole it from me. So, I bought another one, until they stole that other one too. That is when I got the Casio calculator. I got the TI-83 Plus some time in sixth grade. Then, in seventh grade, I got my TI-84 Plus CE and got into programming.
i have a TI 84 plus CE, Casio CG50, Casio fx 9750giii, TI 83 plus, TI 84 plus silver edition, HP Prime G2, TI 89 titanium, Casio fx9860g slim, TI nspire with the touchpad and ti 84 keypad non-color and many scientific/basic pocket calculators
Is a voyage 200 for 70$ worth it?
I have the following:
----TI 59 that is dead. RIP
----HP41CX that works!
----TI-84 Plus
----TI 84 Plus Silver Edition
----TI-84 Plus CE Python
I have the...
Catiga CS-121 (Trash calc btw)
Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Viewscreen
Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus CE Python
Texas Instruments TI-89
Texas Instruments TI-Nspire Clickpad School Property
Texas Instruments TI-Nspire Clickpad School Property
Hewlett Packard HP-12C
Texas Instruments TI-30XIIS

Hell naw!
https://www.ebay.com/itm/285658278454
Left to right, top to bottom:
TI-84+ SE
TI-Nspire CX II
HP Prime G2
Sharp Elsi Mate EL-835
Casio fx-300ES+
Casio fx-991CW
The sharp looks so out of place, it makes the casios look huge! Also, does your 84+SE have screen burns? It looks like it, but maybe that's just the lighting.

Yeah unfortunately the 84+SE has dark spots on the screen. Doesn't bother me all that much. Also that sharp is tiny. Idek where i got it but it does still work (if you're holding it in sufficient light)

Note: If you have an nspire CX II, DO NOT UPGRADE TO 6.3!
BTW, I have 56 calcs, a new one called the TI-34 MultiView.
