Reading through stuff on omnimaga and came across it and started reading abit, maybe not as relevant anymore because of numworks.
Unfortunately, like several such projects around the community, it looks like it was an ambitious idea that was out of scope of the time, skills, and budget of the folks with the idea. In fact, it looks like it was only an idea from 2010-2011, and I didn't spot any actual prototypes.

There was also an ARM variant called OTARM being considered back then, never finished for the aforementioned reasons, but I think that the community calculator project that went the farthest was Symbolibre
