Hello all! Long time no see!

I just wanted to showcase something I've been working on recently called Github Skyline. It allows you to generate 3D models of your (or others) Github contribution graphs.

Github had made their own version in 2021, but it went offline around 2024 and got replaced by a CLI version. Long story short, I felt like something like this should be readily accessible; the CLI didn't meet my definition of that, and the alternatives lacked some features I thought should be present, so I got to work, and here we are!

This is great, thanks for sharing: I particularly love the plinth. As I'm about to post in the Projects of the Month article, I'd love to see these 3D-printed into a set of annual history "awards" one could put on a shelf.

I haven't gotten a chance to print all of them yet, but I have this photo of my 2025 skyline (left) and 2024 skyline (right) in my work cube.
