TI-CRAWLER
It is finished! After approximately 2 months of work I have finally completed my first public game. CRAWLER is a 2D, top down rouge-like coded entirely in TI-Basic. It includes 3 enemy types, a 7x8 randomly generated map, and a unique combat system reminiscent of chess.
Updates may come out in the future, but as of now the game has no known bugs and is reasonably optimized for a game made entirely in TI-Basic on the calculator. That's right, no computer resources were used while this game was being made except to upload it to Cemetech.
Now for the technicalities... This game only works on monochrome calculators at the moment as the screen display is not made with Color Enhanced calculators in mind. I will probably come out with a new version in the future made for the CE but that would require extensive reworks of the code and I might even have to recode whole parts from scratch. Additionally, if you want to look at the code and edit it, be my guest! The only caveat is that I am credited as the original creator if you decide to post or share the program, and please leave in the watermark at the beginning of the program!
